The Three Main Forms of Jyoti Hi everyone, here is a basic outline of the 3 main levels to Jyoti, which vary in their depth and intention. The main Jyoti method that we are learning to start with is for our own healing and to eventually be able to guide others. However, if you wish to continue studying and go deeper then there is also Jyoti-Bala , and Jyoti-Paahi . They are each described briefly below and we can discuss them more in time. Jyoti Our foundational approach for self healing, one on one, and for group sessions. This includes guided breath work, visualization, sound, plant essences, and specifically timed mediation techniques. I have described this level in detail in other articles. Jyoti (Bala) This more advanced process includes the essential approach but with deeper work exploring certain emotional / mental / physical afflictive patterns. We use guided imagery with a delicate and special focus on the inner bala - or inner child. Here we are not only healing the inner child but also accessing the power of the inner child to help guide us in our current life situation. This is a time line therapy and inner dialogue approach used to help resolve more deep seated and old mental / emotional / physical patterns. Jyoti (Paahi) Paahi is an ancient word used in mantras meaning "to protect" and this level of Jyoti is a ceremonial form of personal and planetary work. It’s based on shamanic principles as related to the multi and inner dimensional aspects of our sacred home and planet. It is based on the understanding that the macro and micro are one - that the universe is our body - and our body is the entire universe. This includes a deep understanding that consciousness, or the mind, and the body are not separate. This level of Jyoti is designed to empower certain practitioners oriented to act as protectors and healers of themselves, our planet and the beautiful souls upon it. With this approach we often may use mudra (hand positioning), Yantra (symbols), asana (postures and movements), visualization, sound, specific intentions, essences, plants, fungi, and times ceremony. Though some of these words are rooted in the region of India, the concepts and functions that they carry transcend both culture and religion. We focus here on understanding of our potential role as worker bees in the betterment of our greater collective, and the earth, by using the timeless methods listed above. We explore how we can act as guardians and like doula for the greater journey of the individual and collective soul. This practice can be carried out solo, but it can also be done in a group setting with other practitioners. At times, and when possible, it can also be practiced in specific power spots and places in nature. This level of practice is not essential to learn, and it will only appeal to certain people who feel the call. However, it does require that one is well established and grounded in the previous or primary levels of Jyoti to start with. Note: Training in this method will not start until Summer of 2025.
